Going forward, the "Company of Heroes" app - formerly called "Company of Heroes (New Steam Version)" - is the one you should use if you want to play online and enjoy the Steam Workshop maps. Mine ran for nearly 3-hours, and this morning the screen flashes in odd paterns, my squad icons are gone. Try clearing your browser cache if you don't see them now, however. Several old threads here about new players loading the game - playing for several hours - then, during gameplay or after starting the game again (like me) the graphics are all fouled up. The Steam pages descriptions were also tweaked for clarity - but it took us a couple of days. When I see the PZ IVs I rush in my greyhounds as bait and then the shermans from the sides/back. The way I know its going to run into problems is when it takes longer to load into the menu, then it pops up the small 'Validating' window quickly then pops back in, then I can not get it back to my normal screen resolution after this happens regardless of how many times I try and change and revert back to the origional screen resolution.
New players can finally know which one is current one because Legacy Edition is what it says, legacy while current version is not that confusing "New Steam Version" anymore but it is clear "Company of Heroes".
